Arrival

Our Staff will meet students in Siena, where they will be introduced to the host families. Orientation activities will take place the day after, during which students will get to know each other better, along with the staff, the city of Siena, and the habits of Italians. During the first days, there will also be a welcome party with host families, students, and faculty, then the class will be guided on an historical tour of Siena.

Semester

During the semester, students will attend Italian language courses along with the other courses they have chosen according to their needs. Students will be involved in local activities outside the school to discover the city center and the territory of Siena. Some field trips will be organized: Florence (1 day), San Gimignano, Pisa and the Cinque Terre (2 days) or Napoli and Pompei (2 days), and Rome (3 days). There will be a 10-day break when students will not have classes to give them the opportunity to travel around Italy and Europe. During this period, it will be necessary for the students to leave their host families or accommodation.

Program includes:

  • Transportation within Siena (bus pass) and for organized excursions
  • Tuition
  • Accommodation with host family (includes breakfast, packed lunches, dinners, and 2 loads of laundry/week)
  • Museum tickets (in Siena and on excursions)
  • Day trip to Florence, San Gimignano, and a winery
  • 3 days in Rome
  • 2 days in Pisa and Cinque Terre (or Napoli and Pompei)
  • Welcome and farewell parties
  • Staff assistance 24h/day

While we recommend staying with one of our host families, we understand that some students may prefer their own accommodation and wish to choose one of our apartments.
